SocialNest Community Guidelines

SocialNest is a space for creators and people who want to express themselves online. We want everyone here to feel safe, respected, and free to be creative. These guidelines exist to keep it that way.

What We Encourage

Be yourself. Build a page that reflects who you are. Share your music, your photos, your links, your personality.

Support other creators. Leave kind messages on guestbooks. Share pages you think are cool.

Have fun with it. The stickers, the marquee, the music — use it all. Make something nobody else's page looks like.

What Is Not Allowed

Nudity and Sexual Content

Do not upload nude images, sexually explicit photos or videos, or pornographic content of any kind. This applies to profile photos, galleries, banners, product images, and any other upload.

Child Safety

Any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors will result in immediate and permanent account termination and a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement. There are no warnings for this. Zero tolerance.

Hate Speech

Do not use slurs, promote discrimination, or attack people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin. This applies to all text on your page including your bio, status, marquee, link titles, and guestbook messages.

Harassment and Bullying

Do not target, threaten, intimidate, or repeatedly harass another person. This includes guestbook messages, page content directed at someone, and any behavior intended to make someone feel unsafe.

Threats of Violence

Do not threaten to harm anyone. Credible threats result in immediate account termination and a report to law enforcement.

Doxxing

Do not share another person's private information (home address, phone number, workplace, school) without their consent.

Impersonation

Do not pretend to be someone else. Your page should represent you, not another person or brand you are not affiliated with.

Spam and Scams

Do not use SocialNest to run scams, phishing schemes, or spam other users. Do not create fake accounts to manipulate engagement.

Self-Harm Content

Do not post content that promotes or glorifies self-harm or suicide. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988).

Copyright Infringement

Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to use. If you receive a DMCA takedown notice, the content will be removed.

What Happens If You Break the Rules

First violation: Your content is removed and you receive a warning email explaining which guideline was violated.

Second violation: Your content is removed and your account is suspended for 7 days.

Third violation: Your account is permanently banned.

Severe violations (child exploitation, credible threats of violence): Immediate permanent ban with no prior warnings. Reported to law enforcement.

How to Report Content

If you see something on SocialNest that violates these guidelines, report it. Every page has a Report link in the footer. Every photo and guestbook message has a report option. We review all reports within 24 hours.

For Minors (Under 18)

If you are under 18, some features are restricted for your safety. The guestbook is unavailable until your 18th birthday. Content filters are stricter on your account. These protections exist because we take your safety seriously.

Questions

If you have questions about these guidelines or believe your content was removed in error, email us at moderation@socialnest.app.
