SocialNest Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SocialNest ("the Service") operated by SocialNest ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Responsibilities

You must be at least 13 years old to use SocialNest. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@socialnest.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Connected Social Accounts

When you connect a third-party social media account, you authorize SocialNest to access, read, and (where applicable) post content on your behalf within the permission scopes you grant. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the account in Settings. We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party platforms on your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Free accounts are free forever with the features described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions (Starter, Creator, Pro) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

4. Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied within the first 14 days of a new paid subscription, contact hello@socialnest.app for a full refund. After 14 days, no refunds are issued. Annual subscriptions are refundable within 14 days of purchase only.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service to harass, spam, or abuse others; violate any third-party platform's terms of service through your use of SocialNest; upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service; resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization; use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond normal use.

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create and post through SocialNest. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to display, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service (e.g., displaying your posts in the dashboard, publishing scheduled content to platforms you've authorized).

7. AI-Generated Content

SocialNest uses AI to generate suggestions (captions, pitches, brand matches). AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is sent or published. We are not liable for the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated suggestions.

8. Storefront and Payments

If you sell digital products through the SocialNest Storefront, you are responsible for fulfilling orders and handling customer service for your products. SocialNest processes payments via Stripe Connect and deducts the applicable platform fee (5% Free, 2% Starter, 0% Creator/Pro) before depositing funds to your connected Stripe account.

9. BrandFlow Marketplace

Creators using BrandFlow are never charged platform fees. Brands are charged a 5% platform fee on funded deals. Escrow funds are held by our payment processor and released upon deal completion as confirmed by both parties.

10. Limitation of Liability

SocialNest is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, data accuracy from third-party platforms, or specific business outcomes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States.
